SV	Babel was een gouden beker in de hand des HEEREN, die de ganse aarde dronken maakte; de volken hebben van haar wijn gedronken, daarom zijn de volken dol geworden.

Trans.	kwōs-zâāḇ bāḇel bəyaḏ-JHWH məšakereṯ kāl-hā’āreṣ mîyênāh šāṯû ḡwōyim ‘al-kēn yiṯəhōləlû ḡwōyim:

AC	ז כוס זהב בבל ביד יהוה--משכרת כל הארץ מיינה שתו גוים על כן יתהללו גוים
ASV	Babylon hath been a golden cup in Jehovah's hand, that made all the earth drunken: the nations have drunk of her wine; therefore the nations are mad.
BE	Babylon has been a gold cup in the hand of the Lord, which has made all the earth overcome with wine: the nations have taken of her wine, and for this cause the nations have gone off their heads.
Darby	Babylon hath been a golden cup in Jehovah's hand, that made all the earth drunken: the nations have drunk of her wine; therefore have the nations become mad.
